Aoife Dooley
About
Aoife Dooley is an award-winning illustrator, writer and comedian from Dublin, Ireland. Her graphic novel series Frankie’s World and Finding My Voice were published by Scholastic in 2022 and 2023. The stories are loosely based on her 11 year old self and feeling different from others. Since their release, the books have received wide praise and have been translated into several languages.
Her new series, The Squid Squad ( Scholastic Books) has been described as ‘Spongebob Squarepants meets Bunny Versus Monkey’ and is a hilarious, zany and action-packed full-colour graphic novel for readers aged 5-8. The first book in the series is published in May 2025.
