Candida Brady is a multi-Award winning director and screenwriter.
Her feature film, Muse, starring Géza Röhrig, Rupert Everett and Alison Doody debuted at the Cambridge Film Festival in 2019 and won Best Director at Skipton Playhouse in Los Angeles.
Her career spans film, television and journalism. Other work includes the feature film Urban and the Shed Crew starring Richard Armitage, Anna Friel and newcomer Fraser Kelly, winner of two awards at the Newcastle Film Festival in 2018. Trashed with Oscar winner Jeremy Irons, a documentary feature wrote and directed, officially selected for competition at the Cannes Film Festival in 2012. Candida was nominated for the Camera d’Or and is one of a handful of British female directors to have this honour. Trashed won eleven international film festival awards including the Special Jury Prize at Tokyo International Film Festival, the Green Film Festival and the Bled Water Festival in 2018. Recent work includes Willowbrook (Rose Pictures) and the follow up to Trashed.
