Having worked as an Assistant Director in the film industry for over a decade on projects from Game of Thrones to Jurassic World, Ger Duffy is a master of well thought-out scenes, production planning and storytelling. He brings a wealth of set experience and story knowledge to his work.

First Assistant Director credits for film include Saipan, featuring Steve Coogan as Mick McCarthy, Aisha starring Letitia Wright, Eva Birthistle’s directoral debut Kathleen Is Here, Nothing Compares (Documentary Feature- Ard Mhacha/BFI/Screen Ireland), The Last Right 2nd Unit (CrossDay Productions), Anniversary (Lionsgate/Metropolitan) and Sisters (Element Pictures).

.Credits for TV include Kin S2 (Bron/AMC), Video Nasty (Deadpan/BBC NI), Smother S1 & 3 (BBC/Treasure), Blackshore (Treasure Ent/BBC Studios) and Witness No.3 (Story Films/Channel 5 – featuring Nina Toussaint-White). Ger was second unit Director for The Night Caller (Story Films, All3Media, Channel 5).

He learnt his trade on productions like Game of Thrones S4-8 (HBO), Normal People (Element Pictures/BBC) and The Young Offenders (Vico Films/ BBC3/ RTÉ).

As Writer/ Director, Ger most recently made VOID, his second short film. Previously he directed Little Bear in 2015, which had its World Premiere at the Vancouver International Film Festival and later went on to win the Audience Choice Award at the Dublin International Film Festival.
