About
Mika is an award winning cinematographer working internationally across Film and TV. He speaks English and Finnish fluently. Always in demand, he recently shot THE KILLING KIND for Paramount+ and Eleventh Hour Films, as well as the 60th anniversary special of DOCTOR WHO: THE GIGGLE for the BBC/ Disney+ and Bad Wolf.
Other projects include WHY DIDN’T THEY ASK EVANS? an Agatha Christie project, directed by Hugh Laurie for for Mammoth Screen and BritBox, the first series of WWII drama WORLD ON FIRE for the BBC and the political drama COBRA for New Pictures and Sky.
Feature film credits include Finland’s, UNKNOWN SOLDIER directed by Aku Louhimies which broke box office records in Finland and more recently the action thriller OMERTA 6/12. He has worked with multiple A-List cast in a diverse range of genres and is constantly in demand for high profile commercial shoots. Mika has experience in a range of shooting environments and budget levels.
