About
Patrick Jordan is an award winning cinematographer with bases in Dublin and London. He has over twenty years experience shooting drama, documentary and commercial projects, and his recent work includes Season 1 of BBC comedy series The Other One. Other notable work includes The Young Offenders, both the film and TV series, commissioned by BBC 3.
Patrick has shot two Oscar nominated short films, ‘Pentecost’ and ‘Detainment’, and has been nominated twice for an IFTA. In 2014 he won the Donal Gilligan Award for Best Cinematography for the short film ‘Volkswagen Joe’.
He has shot music videos for artists such as Lankum, Sinead O’Connor and several dance films including ‘I’m Roger Casement’ directed by Dearbhla Walsh.
Patrick owns a full range of equipment including an Arri Alexa Mini LF and various lens sets, including a beautiful set of vintage Zeiss B-Speeds.
