Peter McGann is a writer, comedian, actor and director based in Dublin.
Peter has written extensively for theatre. He created, writes and directs the live comedy radio show Pulp Injection, which has developed a cult following in Dublin and enjoys sell out shows. He has co-written the plays Personal Space, Personal Space Vol II, and The Ripping Yarn Trilogy, a trio of alternative history plays comprising of The Hellfire Squad, The Roaring Banshees, (the most successful original show in Smock Ally Theatre’s history) and The Folklore Commission, which he and his trilogy co-writer John Morton are currently developing with a Bursary from the Abbey Theatre.
Peter’s television writing credits include Republic of Telly and Comic Relief, all for RTÉ. He has written and directed a number of short films. His feature script Caper was selected for the 2016 Galway Film Fleadh pitching awards. He and John are currently adapting The Roaring Banshees for the screen.
